Purpose

Allow relationships between tables of different types between the same two entities.

For example products -> products might include:-

• Products you may like
• Products that come with this
• Products you cannot order with this

Method

• Define a Related Type in Admin > Tables/Fields
• The type field is an alphanumeric code used to distinguish related items of this type
• The tab checkbox will force the defined type to appear as a distinct tab in the editor

Notes

• By default, there is no type.
• Database tuning - an index should be added to the type column in Aurora_Related
