1.1 Purpose
To connect an existing database to Infomaxim Aurora.
1.2 Process
The administrator selects a local database.
The tables in the database are identified.
The administrator selects those tables to be connected.
The tables are scanned and a database dictionary is created.
The administrator can customise the database dictionary to control:-
- Field labels
- Field rendering controls for editing
- Table relationships – tableA.field related to tableB.fieldA – display.fieldB

1.3 Sync
Once a table is discovered and created in the data dictionary, subsequent discoveries of the same table in the same database will result in a delta sync of the data and database structure.
